The following Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time and at the sole discretion of the Site owner and operator. Please visit the site regularly for updates. These Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) contained herein on this webpage, shall govern your use of this website, including all pages within this website (collectively referred to herein below as this (“Website”). These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of this Website and by using this Website, you expressly accept all terms and conditions contained herein in full. These Terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between Beyond The Veil / Passing The Veil and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

1. License to Use Materials

This Agreement Terms & Conditions (the Agreement) is entered into between Beyond The Veil & Passing The Veil grants Student or Client a license to use Beyond The Veil’s copyrighted materials in conjunction with the class or meeting they are enrolled in.

The creation of books, workbooks, tapes or other digital or published materials using Beyond The Veil and associated materials remains the copyright of Beyond The Veil. Any information, materials and resources provided during meeting or class are not transferrable.

Use of Class or Meeting Materials

Student or Client may have access to recorded meeting or class materials for a given time, or any other materials or resources provided by Beyond The Veil & Passing The Veil & Lotus the Magi. Student or Client may not replicate, recreate, publish, distribute, or copyright any digital or published materials provided by Beyond The Veil, Passing The Veil, or Lotus the Magi without written permission.

Withholding Materials

Beyond The Veil reserves the right to withhold any and all materials both print and digital, including access to class for an incomplete payment or non-payment for any course, meeting, product or service. Beyond The Veil will not grant a meeting or class seat until the appointment is paid-in-full.

2. Professional Conduct

A Student & Client must model the behavior expected of a professional in all interactions with Instructors, peers and practice clients inside and outside of class; this model behavior includes:

  •  Treating each person with kindness & respect
  •  Keeping agreements and appointments
  • Negotiating any conflicts in a professional manner

Beyond The Veil has a zero-tolerance policy for rude, violent, discriminatory, derogatory, racism, or other inappropriate behavior.

A Client must strive at all times to recognize their personal issues that may impair, conflict or interfere with their performance or their professional counseling relationships inside and outside of a class or meeting. If an issue arises, one or more of the following actions may be deemed necessary:

  • A Client must promptly seek the relevant professional assistance to resolve any issues that are impairing their ability to participate in any assigned activities, including peer and practice client coaching and regular attendance in the class.
  • The instructor and Beyond The Veil may delay, suspend, or terminate participation in the class or meeting if they determine the Student’s issues cannot be resolved. A full or partial refund will be determined on an individual basis by the Director, depending on the individual circumstances and how much of the class the Student has completed.

3. Attendance, Missed Classes and Make-ups

By signing this document, Student or Client agrees to attend all Beyond The Veil reserved classes or meetings, which they are registered for as scheduled.

Students MUST review the missed class session by listening to a recording and make up any work that was assigned during the missed session.

  • If a Student misses AND is unable to complete make-up sessions, the Student will be withdrawn from the class. Please contact Beyond The Veil at PassingTheVeil@gmail.com if there’s an emergency and needing to reschedule your meeting or class.

At Beyond The Veil, we value our students’ and clients’ time. Your Session/Class is reserved for you and instructions customized, so you have the highest level of service possible. In order for Beyond The Veil’s Instructors to keep this level of service, we ask you to give the office a minimum of 3 days notice when a session and/or a class cannot be attended. We respect and value your time and we ask you do the same for our Instructors.

4. Communications

Clients will be required to complete a questionnaire sent via email after reserving a class or meeting. Clients are required to respond to email communication with Beyond The Veil & Lotus the Magi within 24 hours. Lack of communications results in meeting or class cancellation.

5. Payment of Class, Meetings & Fees

Prior to beginning any course, a Student may make the payment in full or have signed a payment plan agreement approved by Beyond The Veil. Payment plans must be  completely satisfied before a Student receives their meeting or class. 

Students on a payment plan are financially responsible to satisfy all payments as scheduled, whether they complete the class or meeting they enrolled in or not. (See #7 below) 

Delinquent Accounts

Should a Student’s account become more than 7 days delinquent, Beyond The Veil reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions:  

  1. Assess a late fee of $50 beginning on the 31st day after the scheduled payment  due date and no payment has been received.
  2. Withdraw the student from the appointed meeting or class with forfeiture of any monies paid to date.
  3. Submit the Student’s outstanding balance to a collection agency once it has been over 90 days since the last payment was made.

Grievances

If a Student is unhappy for any reason, we request that the Student notify the Instructor and the Director, Lotus the Magi, as soon as possible in writing to PassingTheVeil@gmail.com, to provide specific feedback, and clearly identify issues causing dissatisfaction so that together we may create a solution to the situation.

6. Cancellation of Programs

If Beyond The Veil cancels a class or meeting for any reason prior to the THIRD day of class, we will offer Student a seat in any future class or meeting of the same program type and format; if no upcoming class is available or the timing is unsatisfactory for the Student’s schedule, Student will be refunded in full.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Written Notice

Beyond The Veil and Lotus the Magi do not guarantee results. At this time, Beyond The Veil offers online virtual meetings and classes. We do not currently offer any in-person sessions.

Appointments must be made at least a week in advance. Advance payments are required to reserve your spot. Email communications are required within 24 hours of scheduling an appointment. If Beyond The Veil & Lotus the Magi do not receive any email communications from you within 24 hours, Beyond The Veil and Lotus the Magi reserve the rights to cancel your appointments.

Clients may cancel appointment at least 3 days in advance, to allow Beyond The Veil and Lotus the Magi to update the available time slot for other clients.

Refunds will be given if appointments are cancelled according to our policy guidelines. Refunds are not available after meetings are complete.

Please contact us via PassingTheVeil@gmail.com if there’s any emergency where you may need to either reschedule your time slot or cancel your appointment.

Student must submit any desire to withdraw or transfer from a class or meeting in writing to PassingTheVeil@gmail.com AND their Instructor, if applicable, as soon as possible. Due to our limited class size and the advanced planning required to make sure we have adequate classes to fill the demand for instruction, we strongly request that a Student remain in the class they registered for and not transfer if at all possible.

Refunds*/Transfers/Withdrawals/Cancellations for ALL Programs

No refunds and no transfers will be honored LESS THAN 3 days before the start of class. Digital items are non-refundable.

If Student has a payment plan and withdraws from class/meeting less than 3 days before the start of class or meeting, the no refund policy still applies–Student remains legally bound to finish all payments as agreed.

*If Student or Client requests their credit card company to chargeback or refund the Student directly for any amount paid to Beyond The Veil, Beyond The Veil will dispute the non refundable deposit amount and any other amounts owed based on these Terms & Conditions.

If Student notifies Beyond The Veil of their desire to WITHDRAW from class or meeting MORE THAN 3 days before the start of a class/meeting, any payments for those specific class or meeting previously paid will be refunded less the non-refundable registration fee.

Beyond The Veil & Passing The Veil reserves the unilateral right to modify or amend the terms and conditions of this agreement as needed.
